Last updated: June 8, 2026

The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we explain how personal data is processed in connection with this website.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Zugholz GmbH
Sagistrasse 10
6300 Zug
Switzerland

Email: info@zugholz.ch
Phone: +41 41 552 11 26

Principles

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only process the data necessary to operate the website and to handle your enquiries.

Hosting

This website, its associated database and the email service are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Geneva (Switzerland). All data is stored in data centres located in Switzerland.

Infomaniak processes the data as our processor and exclusively on our instructions. For more information, see Infomaniak's privacy policy.

Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically records information transmitted by your browser in server log files. This generally includes: IP address, date and time of access, browser and operating system used, and the page accessed.

This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with other data sources. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the technical operation and security of the website. Log files are retained only for a short period.

Contact form

When you send us a message via the contact form, we process the data you provide: name, email address and the content of your message, together with the timestamp and the selected language.

We use this data solely to process and respond to your enquiry. Where the GDPR applies, the processing is based on pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your enquiry is stored in a database at Infomaniak in Switzerland and is simultaneously sent to us as an email notification. Your email address is used as the reply address (Reply-To).

Submitted enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to process them, but no longer than twelve months, after which they are automatically deleted.

To protect against spam and abuse, we use privacy-friendly measures (a hidden form field, a check on the time taken to complete the form, and a limit on the number of submissions). No external CAPTCHA service is used. Your IP address is not stored permanently; only where necessary for abuse prevention is a salted hash value processed for a short time.

Email communication

When you contact us by email, your details are stored to process the enquiry and any follow-up questions. Our email service is also operated by Infomaniak in Switzerland.

Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies. Specifically, where needed we store a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember the language you have chosen for future visits.

No tracking, analytics or marketing cookies are set. For this reason, no cookie banner is required.

Web fonts

The fonts used on this website (Inter) are served locally from our server in Switzerland. No fonts are loaded from external providers, and no data is transmitted to third parties in this context.

No web analytics or tracking

We do not use any web analytics services or visitor tracking. In particular, no services such as Google Analytics or comparable tools are used.

Data security

Data is transmitted on this website in encrypted form via HTTPS (TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to obtain information about the data processed about you, as well as to have it corrected or deleted, or its processing restricted. You may also object to the processing and, where applicable, request the release or transfer of your data.

To exercise your rights, a message to info@zugholz.ch is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may amend this privacy policy at any time to reflect changes in the legal situation or to our services. The version published on this website applies.
